Spring By Southwest

Spring By Southwest

Sometimes it feels like everyone, in juxtaposition to the bluebirds, migrates south this time of year. In a more seasonal time I did that too and now it’s hard to fight the urge to abandon everything and drive to the red rock desert.

Note, I almost made a not-so-adult decision last week and abandoned everything and drove to the red rock desert.

We decided to make a Southwest MONTANA trip instead. We’ve both lived there in past lives and it was so sweet to visit old friends, eat lazy bagel breakfasts and catch trout. Damn, you sometimes forget about those trout.

I can feel the energy of summer just over the next bend in the highway. It’s good we get these rainy, cloudy days or I’d explode.
